Wedding Booth

A self-service AI photo booth, designed and built on my own

A guest attraction I built myself, for my own use. A guest takes a photo at a touchscreen kiosk, picks one of nine styles, and shortly gets an AI-restyled portrait — printed on the spot or taken home via QR code. Flux Kontext restyles the scene, then each guest's real face is restored.

highlights

  • ▸Nine themes, from cyberpunk and Mars sci-fi to 1930s Disney, Tolkien-style elves and Van Gogh
  • ▸My own inswapper wrapper upscales each face 4× with Real-ESRGAN before blending, and GFPGAN restores detail
  • ▸Heavily stylised themes skip the swap on purpose, so a photorealistic face never clashes with the style
  • ▸One tap prints to a Canon SELPHY with a custom overlay; when idle, a slideshow plays the night's photos
