CV

Software engineer and technical artist with 6+ years at Funky Fox Studio, mainly in virtual production and live events. I write the software that runs shows and virtual production sets (Unreal Engine 5, C++, DirectX), the tools operators control it from, and AI-based solutions. I also design camera effects in Notch and operate them myself at concerts.

    Software Engineer / Technical Artist

    Funky Fox Studio

    • —ImagFX — a Notch media server for consumer PCs. I wrote the C++/DirectX 11 render engine from the first commit: it takes NDI and SDI input, outputs to SDI, NDI and the graphics card, and is driven from MIDI controllers, lighting desks and its own interface. Used at stadium concerts.
    • —Notch IMAG Effects — effects (mostly camera effects) for LED screens that I design in Notch, optimise for each event and often operate live myself. Shown at Dawid Podsiadło's PGE Narodowy concert (2023), his 2024 stadium tour and OBROTOWY TOUR 2026, sanah's Uczta nad ucztami stadium tour, Clout Festival 2023, Mata Tour 2022, FAME MMA galas and the Lech Polish Hip-Hop Music Awards.
    • —nDisplay Video Playback — an Unreal Engine plugin (C++, D3D12, HLSL) that plays very high-resolution video across an nDisplay cluster while keeping the picture continuous between machines. Hardware decoding on the GPU, frames never leave video memory, live colour correction. Maintained from UE 5.1 to 5.7 and ready for 5.8.
    • —On-Set Media Library — a web app (Node.js, Socket.IO, SQLite, React) for organising thousands of video clips and playing them during shows and shoots. Operators browse and tag clips in a browser and send one to an nDisplay LED wall over TCP with a click; one library handles any room setup.
    • —AI-Bot — a physical AI host on a Raspberry Pi 5 that I co-developed: it notices visitors, holds real-time spoken conversations in Polish (Ultravox, ElevenLabs) and shows the conversation's mood through LED light. Deployed at the 1st International AI Art Biennale, SWPS University and SPIN 2026 in Kraków.
    • —Saudi Green Initiative — an interactive Unreal Engine installation (2024): visitors' answers on touchscreen stands drive Niagara particles on a cylindrical LED screen rendered with nDisplay. The only team member on site: setup, bug fixes and live changes for the client.
    • —nDisplay Event Manager — an Unreal Engine 5 plugin (C++, Slate) where operators design nDisplay cluster actions, save them as presets and send them to a running instance with one click (JSON over TCP). Maintained across UE 5.x releases, up to 5.8.

    Wedding Booth

    Personal project

    • —Wedding Booth — a self-service AI photo booth, designed and built on my own: a guest takes a photo, picks one of nine styles, Flux Kontext restyles the scene and their real face is restored (inswapper, Real-ESRGAN, GFPGAN). FastAPI on a local GPU, a React kiosk, on-site printing or QR take-home.
